Audi officially unveiled the most powerful version of the crossover Q5, which traditionally has the prefix «S» to his name. Feature of the new "eski" is that it ... diesel!

Under the hood hides a three-liter Audi SQ5 diesel engine with dual charging, which gives 313 hp (Prior to this was the most powerful Q5 270 hp). At the same time the main force of the new engine lies not so much in the high-power, as in the huge torque - 650 N ∙ m! And as newton-meters are available in the range 1450-2800 "revolutions."

Of course, SQ5 has permanent four-wheel drive, plus there is an active rear differential. And the machine is different from the usual Q5 reduced ground clearance (-30 mm), 20-inch wheels (and if you want you can take and 21-inch), sport seats, nice door sills, a more aggressive aerodynamic bodywork.

As a result, it is SQ5 currently receives the title of the fastest serial compact crossover. After all, this machine is able to accelerate 0-100 km / h in 5.1 s (maximum speed on the German tradition is limited to 250 km / h). For comparison, BMW X3 with 306-horsepower gasoline engine gains "hundreds" of 5.7. There are, of course, even Porsche Cayenne Turbo, but this model is already playing in another league.
